How To Apply Tape In Hair Extensions
- Section your hair at the place where you want to add the tape-ins.
- Separate a small strand of your hair.
- Grab one piece of tape-in extension and peel the cover off.
- Place this piece of extension under your own hair about 1 cm from hair root and press.
- Grab another piece of tape-in extension and peel the cover off. Stick it onto the first piece, layered like a sandwich.
- Apply a hair iron just enough to press the tapes together.

2. Q: How many pieces per pack? A: There are 20 pieces per pack.
3. Q: How many packs for one head? A: It’s actually based on clients’ needs. One pack is good for fine hair to add some volume. 2-3 packs to add volume and length. If you want a full look, we recommend 4 packs.
4. Q: Can i color it? A: Yes. Light colors are free to color to a darker tone. But we don't suggest you bleach or lighten the colors. Take a small piece to try before you dye all the hair extensions.
5. Q: Can I heat the hair extensions? A: Yes. It can be flat ironed or curled. We suggest a heat setting not higher than 300℉. Heat protectant would be helpful since too much heat would damage the hair quality like our own.
Note:
1. Make sure your hair is washed and unconditioned before applying.
2. Be sure not to put the tape ins too close to your hair root since it may cause uncomfortable to your scalp.
3. We recommend to deep condition your tape in hair extensions once per week since there is not nutrition supplied like our natural hair. Hair extensions need to absorb nutrition from hair conditioner.
4. Use heat protectant on hair extensions to reduce the heat damage when you use a styling tool.
5. Split ends sometime happen. To avoid the damage moves up, trim the ends every 6 to 10 weeks. You can do it yourself with salon scissors or go to a hairstylist.
6. If you need to dye the hair extensions, please take a small strand to try and see if it turns out the color you want.
